PROVIDER SERVICES

“Illinois Action for Children helps me maintain quality services for parents and helps me give children the skills they need to advance and achieve more in education and in life.” — LaTonia

Professional Development

Illinois Action for Children, in collaboration with its network of Community Partners, offers comprehensive professional development opportunities, resources, and technical assistance to early care and school-age professionals throughout Cook County.

Early Care and Education Resources

Published three times each year, the Early Care and Education Resource Guide (Course Catalog) is a listing of professional development training opportunities offered by Illinois Action for Children and its network of Community Partners.

Most of the professional development training offered in this guide will meet both in-service hours required by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) as well as the CDA/CCP credentialing requirements. Programs and providers who are listed in the Illinois Action for Children Referral Database will automatically receive this resource guide in the mail.

To request a copy, please contact Eric Drain, Professional Development Training Associate at 773.769.8017. An electronic file of the Resource Guide can also be downloaded from the sidebar on the right.
